(Designed for addicted persons and family members)

  neenah
PHASE I:  Initial Evaluation and Assessment.

PHASE II:  Individual Therapy - Discover who you are, find respect of self, understand and know your truth in the present moment. Let go of past sufferings with spiritual wisdom, by telling your story with dignity and respect, or by using EMDR and/or Psych-K.

PHASE III:  Group Therapy – Creating Life Balance - This is a 10 month educational and therapeutic group to establish sobriety from addictive behaviors. This group teaches us how to become intimate with our emotional selves and with others. We learn how to relate and communicate from our hearts, to live our truth, and to balance our lives. This healthy environment allows us to be healthy in our everyday lives.

PHASE IV:  Weekend Intensive – Saturday and Sunday 9 – 4:30pm. Held at Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve, Appleton, WI. The weekend retreat is focused on centering and balancing ourselves, spiritually and emotionally. Discover the wisdom, presence, and understanding of spirit as part of life balance. Learn how to emotionally release and be with spirit each day of your life.

Program Length:  When there is a combination of addiction and trauma the average treatment
length is two to five years. Clients will cycle through the various program phases until they have,
according to the client's own reporting, reached 80% resolution of trauma and are satisfied with
their sobriety.

What is sex addiction?

No one single behavior defines sex addiction. When compulsivity has taken control of the addicts
life and it has become unmanageable the behaviors include; excessive masturbation, compulsive
heterosexual and/or homosexual relationships, prostitution, sexting, indecent phone calls,
exhibitionism, rape, voyeurism, incest, and/or violence. It is important to know that sex addiction
does not always lead to sexual offense. Sexual addiction is often accompanied by other addictions
and past trauma. This afflicts people from childhood to late adulthood.

This is an issue for men and women and an estimated 3 – 5% of Americans are afflicted with
sexual addiction.

What is food addiction?

Eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating. They arise from a
variety of physical, emotional, beliefs, and social issues all of which need to be addressed for full
recovery. These disorders can also begin from a diet or sports activity that has become compulsive.
Often times, restricting, binge-purge behaviors, and over eating are accompanied by other addictions
or compulsive behaviors. Again, trauma can be an underlying issue that encourages the cycling of
addiction. Although Eating Disorders are serious and sometimes life threatening, there is HOPE
and RECOVERY.

It is estimated that over 8 million Americans have eating disorders, 7 million are women and
1 million are men.
